Men's Wedding Band June 10, 2008 C. Lockyer (California) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this ring for my husband as an anniversary gift.
I also checked Titanium Kay's website for further information on the ring and the materials used. It's hard enough to stand up to most everything a guy can put a ring through. I also received prompt delivery as they are in California.
On its own, tungsten is a very hard and dense metal, with the highest melting point of all metals - 6,100 degrees Fahrenheit. Alone, tungsten is vulnerable to scratches and damage just like any other metal, it gains its extreme hardness by being combined with a carbon alloy, transforming it into tungsten carbide, with a hardness between 8.5 and 9.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. The strength of tungsten carbide has made it widely used for decades in industrial applications - it is four times harder than titanium, twice as hard as steel and almost impossible to scratch. The resulting metal can be designed into tungsten carbide wedding band rings that are both visually stunning to please the eye and durable enough to withstand everyday use. These rings can only be damaged through extreme measures, such as abrasion from diamonds or being struck with a hammer
Fantastic Ring!!!!! September 22, 2009 Paul Seattle (Seattle, WA) The design of the ring is beautiful, it is well made, and clearly is something that will last and retain its look for a long time to come. Some of the other people who left reviews called it a wedding ring. I feel that this ring is very flexible in use. Sure it would make a great wedding band, but it is a great everyday or special occasion ring (depends on how you wear it). I feel very comfortable wearing this ring anywhere from the family picnic to executive meetings.
Lasts Forever January 27, 2010 MJP We bought these as our wedding rings. We liked the Celtic imagery. Tungsten carbide is supposed to be nearly indestructible--that's what we hope for our marriage. We like these rings a lot!
Great Presentation October 7, 2008 Robert Regan (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Received the ring in three days. Great finish on the ring, has a bit of weight to it, a good quality weight also. Keeps the shine without showing finger prints. Make sure to get the right size, I personally like my rings tight so I have it on my fourth finger and it fits nicely while still having room to move. Overall really nice ring, haven't seen one like it anywhere.
Pretty, if a little thick November 30, 2008 Sarah Cosmopolitan (Europe) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The ring is nicely made and shipped quickly. It is a little thicker than conventional golden wedding band, so that will take getting used to. and of course, there is no give, so pick the size wisely...
